Lightweight and nestable options for container shipping, non-return logistics and lower empty-pallet volume.
Floor Storage
Pallets selected around evenly distributed static loads on a level, continuously supported floor.
Forklift Transport
Structures configured around dynamic load, fork-entry clearance, unit-load stability and the handling route.
Loaded Stacking
Stable base options for applications where loaded pallet units are placed directly on one another.
Beam Racking
Rackable configurations evaluated by beam span, support direction, load distribution and deflection.
Conveyors & AS/RS
Defined pallet interfaces for rollers, chains, sensors, stacker cranes, shuttles and AGVs.

Plastic Pallets for FIBC Bulk Bags, Jumbo Bags and Super Sacks
FIBC loads require a pallet footprint that supports the filled bag without excessive overhang. Selection should consider bag dimensions, total weight, load distribution, forklift interface and whether the pallet is used for export, floor storage or repeated handling.
Typical materials include plastic resins, polymer granules, chemical powders, fertilizers, pigments and industrial minerals.
Measure the loaded bag—not only the nominal empty-bag size—and review potential bulging beyond the pallet edge.
A floor-supported static rating cannot be used as the forklift-handling capacity.
Use lightweight nestable pallets for suitable export lanes and reinforced structures for demanding repeated handling.

Plastic Pallets for Chemical Drums and Barrels
Drum loads create concentrated contact points on the deck. The correct plastic pallet depends on drum diameter, drum quantity, total unit-load weight, usable deck area, forklift access and loaded-stacking requirements.
Build the pallet specification around the drum layout
Our drum-handling options can be reviewed for steel drums, plastic drums and fiber drums, including common 200 L and 55-gallon containers. Do not select a pallet from the nominal footprint alone.
Provide diameter, height, filled weight and number of drums per pallet.
Confirm the usable deck area, contact points, anti-slip features and retaining edge.
Review stretch wrap, strapping, dividers and movement during transport.
Separate floor, loaded stacking and beam-rack requirements.
Two different functions
A drum transport pallet supports packaged drums during storage and movement. A spill pallet includes a containment sump designed to collect leaks or drips.
| Requirement | Starting product type |
|---|---|
| Forklift transport | Load-bearing industrial pallet |
| Loaded stacking | Stackable or full-base pallet |
| Beam-rack storage | Rack-rated reinforced pallet |
| Leak collection | Spill containment pallet |
Plastic Pallets for Resins, Powders, Fertilizers and Octabins
Bagged chemicals and bulk containers need consistent deck support to reduce package overhang, bottom sagging and unit-load instability. Match the footprint and deck structure to the bag pattern, octabin dimensions, total load and container-loading plan.
Plastic Resins & Granules
Pallet options for sacks, FIBC bags and octabins containing PE, PP, PET, masterbatch and other polymer materials.
Chemical Powders & Additives
Load platforms for compounds, fillers, additives and powdered ingredients in sacks or flexible bulk packaging.
Fertilizers & Feed Materials
Non-absorbent pallet options for fertilizers, feed ingredients, seeds and other bagged agricultural products.
Pigments & Industrial Minerals
Pallets for pigments, carbon black, mineral powders, cement additives and other high-density bagged loads.
Octabins & Gaylord Boxes
Square and large-format pallet options selected around the container base, load transfer and handling route.
Deck & Base Options
Open-grid, closed-deck, runner-base, full-perimeter, double-faced and reinforced configurations are available by model.
Rackable Plastic Pallets for Chemical Warehouses and AS/RS
A static floor-load rating does not demonstrate rack performance. Rackable pallets must support the defined unit load across the actual rack beams without excessive deflection.
Automation-ready pallets must also interact consistently with conveyors, sensors, stacker-crane forks, shuttles, transfer stations and AGVs.
Confirm span, orientation, unit-load distribution, temperature, duration, reinforcement and allowable deformation.
Match runner geometry to roller pitch, chain centers, guides and transfer points.
Test the exact pallet configuration in the customer's rack or automated system before bulk purchasing.

Rackable & Reinforced Configurations
Runner-base, full-perimeter and model-specific steel-reinforced plastic pallets for open-span storage and repeated handling.
Spill Containment Pallets for Chemical Drums and IBCs
A standard transport pallet supports the load but does not collect leaked liquid. Spill containment pallets use a raised grating and containment sump to manage leaks and drips in chemical storage, dispensing and transfer areas.
One-Drum Spill Pallets
Secondary containment for an individual drum or a small chemical-handling area.
Two-Drum Spill Pallets
Containment platforms for storing or dispensing from two drums in a controlled area.
Four-Drum Spill Pallets
Larger containment units for grouped chemical drum storage and handling.
IBC Spill Pallets
High-capacity containment solutions designed around intermediate bulk containers and heavy liquid loads.
How to Select a Plastic Pallet for Chemical Loads
Start with the packaged load—not the pallet size alone. A pallet that performs on a supported floor may not be suitable for beam racking, automated conveying or long-term outdoor use.
Define the Packaging
Record the filled dimensions and contact points of drums, FIBC bags, sacks, octabins, IBCs or rigid containers.
Calculate the Unit Load
Confirm total weight and whether the load is evenly distributed, concentrated or likely to shift.
Identify the Support
Specify floor, loaded stacking, rack beams, conveyor supports or automated lifting points.
Confirm Equipment
Provide forklift-fork dimensions, entry direction, pallet-jack needs and conveyor or AGV interfaces.
Review the Environment
Confirm temperature, outdoor exposure, cleaning method and direct or accidental chemical contact.
Define the Service Cycle
Choose for one-way export, occasional reuse or high-frequency closed-loop operation.
| Rating | What it describes | What it does not prove | Confirm before use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Static Load | A defined load supported on a level floor. | Forklift handling, rack use or loaded stacking. | Distribution, duration, temperature and floor support. |
| Dynamic Load | A defined load handled using specified equipment. | Unsupported beam-rack performance. | Fork geometry, speed, load center and handling route. |
| Rack Load | A defined load supported across specified beams or open spans. | Compatibility with every rack or orientation. | Span, direction, reinforcement, temperature and deflection. |
Configure the Pallet Around the Chemical and Supply Chain
Material, structure and optional features should follow the actual chemical exposure, temperature, load condition, handling route and service cycle.
HDPE & PP Options
HDPE and PP offer different balances of impact performance, stiffness, temperature behavior and chemical resistance. Confirm the exact resin by model.
Chemical Compatibility
No single plastic suits every acid, alkali or solvent. Review substance, concentration, temperature, contact duration and mechanical load.
Export Shipping
Plastic pallets are not solid-wood packaging and are not subject to ISPM 15 treatment requirements for regulated wood packaging.
Deck & Base
Model-dependent choices include open-grid or closed decks with nine-leg, runner, full-perimeter or double-faced bases.
Reinforcement & Restraint
Review steel reinforcement, anti-slip inserts, retaining edges and load-securing features against the application.
Identification
Custom color, logo, barcode, numbering and RFID options may support identification and closed-loop asset control.
Pallet Performance You Can Verify
A reliable pallet specification should be supported by defined material, dimensions, load conditions and inspection criteria—not by a load number alone.
Ask for technical information relating to the exact pallet model and configuration being quoted.
Confirm resin type and material requirements for the selected model and application.
Review deck, base, external dimensions and fork-entry clearance against the approved specification.
Evaluate performance under defined support, distribution and handling conditions.
Use the actual span, direction, reinforcement and permissible deformation.
Plan nesting, stacking, container type and order quantity together.
Test the exact pallet in the customer's rack, conveyor or AS/RS before volume use.
